With a heavy heart we share that Clyde Romero, cofounder of the LES Ecology Center, passed away in January. There will be a memorial service in the summer at the LES Community Garden to honor his life as an artist, community, and environmental activist. Details to follow.
A memorial fund has been established in honor of Clyde, who has been the driving force for designing and programming the garden over the last 30 years, and so much more. Help us honor his contributions and ensure the garden will flourish for many decades to come.
